Caliber Home Loans, the fastest growing top-10 mortgage lender in the nation*, was honored to celebrate Veterans Day with the Dallas Mavericks. Caliber partnered with the Dallas Mavs for the NBA’s Hoops for Troops community outreach program. As a part of this exclusive partnership, Caliber employees joined Dallas Mavs players and two dozen active members of the military to prepare 10,000 meals for families in the Dallas area. The meals were distributed by Feeding Children Everywhere, a global organization that provides meals to children in need.

Bryan Bergjans, the National Director of Military & Veteran Lending for Caliber Home Loans, also partnered with the Mavs on this project. Headquartered in Coppell, Caliber Home Loans works to meet the mortgage needs of the men and women who are serving – or who have served – in the United States Armed Forces.

“Any time we get an opportunity to partner up with the military and do community outreach, we want to do it,” Bergjans said. “The best way to get involved in the community is by doing stuff like this. Partnering up with Mavericks and having an opportunity to partner with the Air Force really allows us to get involved with our community partners and show our commitment to serving the military and helping.”

As one of the premier companies recognized as a Military Friendly Brand and by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, Caliber is committed to supporting the military and veteran community—during Veterans Day and beyond.
