Meet New MMBBA President, Colleen Palmer

Caliber Home Loans, Inc. ("Caliber") is proud to announce Area Sales Manager, Colleen Palmer, as the new President of the Maryland Mortgage Bankers and Brokers Association for the 2019-2020 term. Palmer will lead initiatives that advocate for mortgage professionals as well as provide its members with the educational resources and they need to be competitive in this marketplace.

First Female MMBBA President in 12 Years As the first female MMBBA President in over 12 years and only the 5th female president in 70 years, Colleen hopes to add more female members and help to diversify the association. Colleen believes giving back to her work community is as important as giving to her home communication. As president, she is excited to expand the “Young Mortgage Professionals Program,” and build two new committees, “Professional Mortgage Woman” and “Partnerships.”

What Ms. Palmer Hopes to Achieve Ms. Palmer said, “Leading this Association gives me a chance to engage with so many people in the industry from broker partners to lenders, title, appraiser and credit folks and other associations both national and local. Being able to represent the Association and have my affiliation with Caliber makes me proud. Whether talking to a local broker or someone at MBA or NAMB, they know I am with a leading company in our industry.”
