Does the USDA require data to be entered manually?

USDA does require several data fields to be entered manually on the GUS website when importing the loan file.

You will need to complete the following data fields:

• FIPs number 
• Purchase Type Other Description unless "Borrower Paid Fees" or "Lot Equity" was utilized. 
• If asked for a loan amount on a subordinate HELOC, enter the HELOC line amount.
